Julia's Chickens
by kristen dodge on 02/04/20
In the spring of 2018, Julia started her own business, the chickens. She was able to start this with the KEG Scholarship from FFA, and ordered chicks with this money. The chicks were raised in the basement then moved outside when it was warm enough. She eventually sold off all the roosters except one, Baby. She has taken in chickens from various places since then, her favorite being Princess, her porcelain duccle from school. She currently sells the fresh eggs to local customers, and cherishes all the lessons the chickens have taught her.
